Alvarado Escapes Serious Injury, Will Be Out 1-2 weeks

Jockey Junior Alvarado has been released from the hospital with no serious injuries following a spill at Belmont Park Sept. 21 , but will miss one to two weeks as he awaits clearance to return to riding, his agent Mike Sellitto said Sept. 22.
