Churchill Downs Inc. Hopes to End Racing at Calder

Florida industry groups have lined up to oppose a plan by Churchill Downs Inc. to end Thoroughbred racing at its Calder property, a move that could cost horsemen around $10 million a year in purses generated by slot machines at Calder Casino.
