Horsewoman, Humanitarian Anita Madden Dies

Lexington horsewoman Anita Madden, known for her extravagant parties at Hamburg Place with her husband, Preston, died Sept. 27 at 85. Her work on the planning and zoning commission in Lexington changed the course of the city’s development.
