This is where the dream begins!

In advance of the New Zealand Bloodstock Karaka Yearling Sale (Jan 25th to 29th) 2026, the Ed Stapleton Bloodstock tour offers a unique opportunity to view almost 750 of these yearlings on their farms.

Taking place over 6 days, the tour is open to both industry participants and the general public who are interested in the upcoming sales.

There is no fee to attend the tour and bus transport, kindly sponsored by New Zealand Bloodstock, is available, departing from and returning to Cambridge BP daily. (Departure times vary each day, see the itinerary below for full details)

A number of stud farms will also kindly sponsor refreshments (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Full details to follow closer to the tour start date.
